Beginners Course Dates

Membership

Whether you are a complete novice who has never picked up a bow, or are an accomplished archer wishing to join a local club, the Cheshire County Bowmen are happy to welcome you.

If you are considering joining our club as a novice, we do ask that a beginners course is completed before full membership is considered.  This is to ensure that you enjoy the sport before committing yourself to becoming a fully fledged member.  All equipment will be provided as part of the beginners course and for a short time afterwards. The course is open to anyone over the age of 11 - please note anyone under the age of 18 must have an accompanying adult in attendance at all times. For experienced archers with GNAS membership, please contact the webmaster for further details of how you can visit / join the club, or feel free to turn up at any of our scheduled shoots and ask for one of the committee members who will be happy to assist. Details of our scheduled shoots are available in the About Us section.

If your GNAS membership has expired but have shot fairly recently you might be able to join the club without completing the beginners course. However you will be required to pay the GNAS membership cost in addition to the annual club membership fee on joining the club. Please contact us for further details.
