Beginners Course

Ever fancied taking up Archery? It is a growing sport which welcomes everyone-all abilities and disabilities, young and old alike.

We offer a short beginner’s course to get you started in the sport and start you on the road to a fun and enjoyable sport. The course consists of six sessions, of 2 hours each, starting from the very basics of the bows and arrows right through to shooting at targets in a very short time. We will have you shooting arrows on your very first day!

We provide all the equipment you need to do the course and advice and help with equipment to get you started if you want to continue. You will be taught by experienced coaches and archers in a safe and fun environment. Our coaches are there to help and support you and answer any questions you may have about archery.

Our club is well established and has archers of all abilities, shooting all types of bows. Our archers have represented Cheshire County and England, but we also have archers who shoot just for the fun of it.

If you want to give it a go, why not sign up for our beginner’s course using the form below. Once we have your completed form our coaching officer will get back to you very quickly with more information about the course details.

We are hoping to run another beginners course towards the end of the summer. If you would like to register  either fill in the form below or email our course organiser (Carol, our coaching officer) directly at and she will get back to you. Please note that replies occasionally go to your spam folders so you might need to check that too.
